Founded in 2013, DIGITAL INSURE is an insurtech specializing in borrower insurance and individual provident insurance brokerage, operating in a BtoBtoC model, and currently employs over 150 people in France. Selected for the French Tech 120 program in 2020, DIGITAL INSURE is one of the most promising hyper-growth companies in the tech sector.

Since 2022, Digital Insure has been part of the Odealim group, a national reference player in insurance brokerage and real estate financing. This operation comes as the borrower insurance market opens up further to free competition, thus offering new perspectives.

DIGITAL INSURE has two main activities: Insurance product distribution (via an offer comparison marketplace) and Services (white-label third-party management for banks or insurance companies).

Digital Insure is currently seeking to recruit a Risk Manager (M/F) to join its Financial Department and support the teams in managing the risks of the Insurtech’s activities. This experience will allow the successful candidate to participate in the development of a rapidly growing structure, to work cross-functionally with all company teams, and to act on both operational and strategic levers.

Descriptif du poste

Reporting directly to Odealim’s DPO, your missions will revolve around several key areas.

1. Ensure the deployment and maintenance of the internal control and compliance system:

  • Define, with the Management Committee and based on existing structures, the organization of the internal control system (policy, charter, steering processes, responsibilities of various stakeholders, etc.)
  • Lead the internal control program and ensure the coordination of its implementation by operational and functional departments, in line with commitments made to our insurance partners.
  • Contribute to maintaining consistency between the commitments made in our agreements with our partners and the existing system.
  • Ensure the updating of the risk mapping and the adequacy of the associated risk management system.
  • Implement tools and indicators to monitor the effectiveness of the internal control and compliance system.
  • Contribute to maintaining the complaint monitoring and processing system.

2. Risk Management:

  • Implement all necessary actions for holding the company’s risk committee.
  • Ensure proper reporting of risk management information to our external partners.
  • Coordinate external audits conducted within the company by our insurance partners.
  • Ensure the necessary monitoring to guarantee a risk management system consistent with the technological and legal environment.

3. Act as DPO and ensure the company’s compliance with GDPR obligations.

Profil recherché

Higher education degree, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in internal control within the insurance sector. Knowledge of the insurance market (brokerage / borrower insurance / provident insurance) is essential.

Strong aptitude for and ideally experience in the digital world.

You are pragmatic, rigorous, analytical, and curious.

Excellent adaptability to manage priorities.

Proactive approach and solution-oriented mindset, communicating and working cross-functionally.

Possess an IT background, particularly in the field of IT security.

Knowledge of internal control and/or compliance in insurance or banking.
