Communiqué de presse

Digital Insure launches its TNS Madelin offer, a complementary component to the universal provident insurance contract “Gan Digital Prévoyance”, marketed since last May, in partnership with Groupama Gan Vie, reinsured by SwissRe.

It is a 100% digital offer, also accessible via API and featuring the brand new Magnum Pure medical selection process, developed by Swiss Re. It has been specifically designed for the income protection of self-employed workers (TNS) and their families, in case of work stoppage or death. This exclusive product is available to Digital Insure’s partner insurance brokers, wealth managers (CGP), social protection networks, and credit brokers, via its “Multinet Inside” marketplace.

Ease of subscription is an essential element of this offer. Because determining the coverage needs of self-employed workers requires specialized expertise, Digital Insure has integrated into its processes this application which automatically proposes the best coverage solution. Developed with the support of FASST, a startup specializing in provident insurance sales processes, it allows brokers, even non-experts, to obtain all the necessary information to provide quality advice.

Timely and relevant, the solution takes into account the latest regulatory developments in the market, notably the reform of work stoppage coverage for liberal professions, which comes into effect this Thursday, July 1.

Fabrice Couturier, co-founder of Digital Insure, states: “We are particularly pleased to launch this new offer, which complements the range of individual provident insurance we recently developed with Groupama Gan Vie and Swiss Re. This latest, fully digital version, addresses the coverage needs of self-employed workers (TNS), who are traditionally poorly covered in case of work stoppage or death and often poorly informed. It will simplify and secure the work of our partner brokers in approaching their TNS clients and reviewing their protection. And notably, for liberal professions, it will allow them to conduct an assessment when the reform of daily allowances for liberal professions comes into effect.

Jean Orgonasi, co-founder of Digital Insure, confirms: “We were keen to add a dedicated digital component to our Multinet Inside tool to facilitate and maximize the speed of advice selection for the specific population of self-employed workers (TNS).

We turned to our partner FASST, which is part of Digital Insure’s tech ecosystem and has developed a simple and accessible expertise tool. Combined with a very competitively priced product offer, this service will allow us to develop rapidly in the TNS market.

Xavier FAVRE, founder of Fasst, adds: “The application we developed with Digital Insure precisely meets the needs of all brokers, regardless of their level of expertise and knowledge. The agility of our solutions allows for rapid evolution of algorithms and ensures real-time alignment with regulatory changes, as we have just done for the reform concerning liberal professions.”

*Decree Reminder: effective July 1, 2021

  • The decree authorizes a common scheme for liberal professions, who will now all benefit from daily allowances (IJ) in case of work stoppage, during the first 90 days of sick leave, after a waiting period of only 3 days.
  • All professions that are members of the CNAVPL (National Old Age Insurance Fund for Liberal Professions) are covered: dental surgeons and midwives, doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, podiatrists, speech therapists and orthoptists, veterinarians, general insurance agents, chartered accountants and statutory auditors, ministerial officers, public officers and judicial company officials, pharmacists, architects, certified in architecture, engineers, technicians, surveyors, experts, advisors, consultants, and notaries.

Limitations of the Decree

1/ URSSAF will levy an additional contribution (0.30% of annual income)

2/ Lawyers are not affected (they are not affiliated with the CNAVPL)

3/ In the absence of a provident insurance contract, this overall protection remains limited:

Daily allowances will be equal to only 50% of declared income, with a maximum of €169/day for 2021

They only concern the first 90 days of work stoppage

Professional expenses are not covered (or compensated)

The reform contains no provisions to protect relatives
