Communiqué de presse

Digital Insure is proud to be selected for the French Tech 120 program, created by the government and officially launched in September 2019 by Emmanuel Macron and Edouard Philippe.
This is a state support program for 120 companies capable of becoming world-class technology leaders. The selected companies are among the most promising in France and have been identified particularly for their remarkable performance.

Digital Insure is currently one of the French leaders in borrower and personal risk insurance, operating through two activities: a wholesale broker offering a broad digital platform of contracts to distributing brokers, and a managing broker, providing end-to-end digital management of contracts.

Founded in 2013 by 3 personal insurance experts, Jean Orgonasi, Richard Thibault, and Fabrice Couturier, Digital Insure develops a range of accessible and simple personal risk insurance products for everyone through digital services and journeys.

With profitable growth of over 50% per year, a geographical presence in Paris and Caen, and strong international development prospects, Digital Insure joins a significant support program for its growth.

Jean Orgonasi, co-founder of Digital Insure, states: “We are particularly proud to have been recognized among the innovative rising stars, across all sectors. Since our creation in 2013, we have always strived to maintain a startup mindset: agility, responsiveness, transparency, and flexibility.”

And Fabrice Couturier, co-founder, adds: “Beyond economic performance, this selection highlights the purpose of our activity, which aims to simplify and accelerate individual processes and to insure the least protected, or even excluded, populations. It is also a tremendous opportunity for Digital Insure to accelerate its strategy: to be the benchmark BtoBtoC personal risk insurance platform in France and to export the model internationally.”

About Digital Insure

Established in 2013 by three experts in personal insurance, Digital Insure, through its subsidiaries Digital Insure Distribution, BPSIS, and Digital Insure Services, operates across the entire value chain of borrower insurance and provident insurance with a decidedly “Tech” DNA.

Digital Insure specializes in implementing 100% digital journeys for personal risk insurance, simplifying and accelerating all stages, from offer comparison to subscription and after-sales, in BtoB and BtoBtoC modes.

The digital journey, open to all stakeholders in the chain, offers complete traceability and addresses all risk issues. Its subsidiary Digital Insure Services provides third-party management to Insurers, Mutuals, and Banks with end-to-end digital contract processing.

Digital Insure is ranked 1st Insurtech and 3rd Fintech within the Frenchweb.fr 2019 panorama, which brings together 500 French tech companies.

About the French Tech 120

Launched in September 2019 by the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister, the French Tech 120 program illustrates the French government’s desire to become the best possible support for the French Tech ecosystem.

Aimed at innovative companies less than 15 years old that have not been acquired or gone public, the program promises laureates an unprecedented support system: all state services will indeed mobilize to offer a list of services covering five areas (international development, financing, market access, talent recruitment, and support in all dealings with the administration).

The French Tech program is the only system in the world that offers privileged access to over 50 ministries and government agencies.
