borrower insurance and individual provident insurance, which currently employs over 150 people in France. Its 100% digital processes simplify and accelerate all stages, from comparing offers to subscription and claims management for all personal insurance stakeholders.
Through its distribution subsidiary, Digital Insure provides its distributor brokers (generalist, specialized, web players) with exclusive borrower and provident insurance offers tailored to their clients’ profiles, digital comparison and subscription journeys, and high-quality service in contract management, delegation, and substitution. The Digital Insure Services subsidiary offers Insurers, Mutuals, and Banks support in their digital transformation for the distribution and/or management of their personal insurance contracts via technological solutions or innovative projects.

Since 2022, Digital Insure has been part of the Odealim group, a national reference player in insurance brokerage and real estate financing. This operation comes as the borrower insurance market opens up further to free competition, thus offering new perspectives.

As part of its development, DIGITAL INSURE’s Financial Department is seeking a General and Technical Accountant. This experience will allow the successful candidate to participate in the development of a rapidly growing structure, to work cross-functionally with all company teams, and to act on commercial, operational, and strategic levers.

La mission

Permanent contract position: Various locations are possible (Paris – 17th arrondissement, Caen, Rouen, or Lyon)

Under the direct responsibility of the Administrative and Financial Manager, your missions will revolve around several key areas, primarily maintaining accounting records and contributing to financial control activities.

Your missions revolve around the following activities:

Participate in the production of financial and commercial reporting for General Management and external partners

Contribute to monthly accounting closings:

    • Perform the necessary account reconciliations for the preparation of the balance sheet and income statement.
    • Participate in the preparation of the necessary elements for the balance sheet preparation in compliance with current procedures.

Carry out all necessary operations for maintaining the company’s accounting records:

    • Record accounting data.
    • Perform bank reconciliations.
    • Collect, verify, and record accounting documents.
    • Research budgetary and analytical allocations and perform accounting entries for the relevant entities.
    • Analyze and clear third-party accounts.
    • Record adjustment entries.
    • Reconcile third-party accounts.

Compétences requises

● Knowledge of general accounting
● Knowledge of accounting software and its configuration (Quadratus is a plus)
● Proficiency in Excel – Aptitude for data manipulation
● Knowledge of the financial sector desired
● Rigor and versatility
● Organizational skills

Profil

Higher education in finance/accounting. You have knowledge of general accounting. You enjoy manipulating large amounts of data and know how to use the right tools to extract insights from them.
