Following an initial minority investment in late 2020, Odealim, a leading national player in insurance and real estate financing brokerage, today announced the acquisition of a controlling stake in Digital Insure, a French insurtech specializing in borrower and provident insurance. This transaction occurs as the borrower insurance market is opening up further to free competition, thus offering new prospects. Odealim thereby confirms its pursuit of ever-greater mastery of the real estate vertical and its ambitions regarding the digital transformation of its offering and customer experience. <\/strong><\/div>

The Acceleration of an Ambitious Symbiotic Project<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

This further acquisition of a stake in Digital Insure, fostered by a shared commitment to human values, represents the natural progression of the journey that began two years ago with the partnership between Odealim and the insurtech, a member of FrenchTech 120 since January 2020. Through this, the two entities thus solidify their common desire to pool and enhance their resources, expertise, and partner networks for the benefit of the growth of the various entities within the Odealim group. <\/p>

Odealim’s acquisition of a controlling stake in Digital Insure offers a unique opportunity to expand the already significant synergies by leveraging, on the one hand, the insurtech’s comprehensive expertise in borrower and provident insurance (technology, distribution, and business know-how, capable of offering 100% online journeys), and, on the other hand, Odealim’s distribution network and its subsidiaries, such as Artemis courtage, which already markets Digital Insure’s offering, as well as the resources provided by Ardian and TA Associates.<\/p>

Consolidated Governance<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Christophe Grouas, Member of Odealim’s Management Board, will now serve as CEO of Digital Insure, supported by Ludovic Magnin as Deputy CEO.<\/p>

For nearly 10 years, the founders of Digital Insure have tirelessly driven its growth and development. Today, they wish to pass on the baton and play a valuable role alongside the new General Management. Jean Orgonasi and Fabrice Couturier, co-founders of Digital Insure with Richard Thibault, remain involved and will be entrusted with strategic missions for revenue optimization, innovation, and support. <\/p>

Richard Thibault, for his part, will extend his scope of involvement by joining Odealim’s executive committee and taking charge of IT, which will bring together the eponymous divisions of Odealim and its historical subsidiaries, Digital Insure, and Art\u00e9mis courtage.<\/p>
